Hotel manager

The hotel manager is responsible for the performance of the galley, dining room, bars with open decks, housekeeping department, purser department, crew/public areas, onboard purchasing, ordering, and storage, revenue and cost control, medical and entertainment departments, and all onboard passenger-related matters. A hotel manager needs to have extensive management experience in managing a hotel, resort, or cruise ship, or in managing the Food and Beverage Department on a ship. A degree in hotel management may be required, or a similar degree. Proficiency in English is mandatory, and other languages may be essential, too. Other courses and knowledge will also be expected.

Salary range: 5000-7000 USD per month*

Shore Excursions Manager

Responsible for the presentation, promotion, supervision, and arrangement of the shore excursions offered in the various ports of call. Experience in tourism, previous travel-related experience, and/or a minimum of 1 year in the relevant field on board ships are required. Fluent English language skills are required.

Salary range: 3900- 4850 USD per month*

Assistant Shore Excursions Manager

Responsible for the promotion, sale, and arrangements of the shore excursions offered in the various ports of call as directed by the Shore Excursion Manager. Experience in tourism, previous travel-related experience, and/or a minimum 1 year on board starting from an entry-level cruise staff position are required. Fluent English language skills are required.

Salary range: 2400-3600 USD per month*

Receptionist

Check-in passengers, checkout, settle accounts at the end of the cruise, handle complaints, lost luggage, room changes, check cashing, currency exchange, etc. Required: experience in hotel practicals and administration. Customer service experience, especially as a hotel receptionist or bank teller, is most helpful in landing this job.

Salary range: 1450-1900 USD per month*
